cPanel Backup for Google Drive is an OAuth integration used to connect Google Drive to a cPanel & WHM server for configured backup operations.
When an administrator authorizes the integration, it may receive Google OAuth authorization credentials and access to Google Drive resources permitted by the requested scopes. The integration is intended to use Google Drive access for its configured backup operations.
Google Drive access is used to support the backup destination configured by the server administrator, including transferring backup files and performing related operations supported by the integration.
Authorization credentials are handled by the cPanel & WHM backup integration as required for its operation. Access to the server and backup destination should be restricted to authorized administrators. Appropriate security measures should be maintained to protect credentials and backup files.
Google Drive data is used for the configured backup purpose. Data may be transferred to Google Drive as part of that operation. Any additional sharing or processing must be disclosed here accurately before this policy is published.
Backup retention and deletion are governed by the backup configuration and retention policies maintained by the server administrator. Revoking Google authorization may prevent future backup operations but does not necessarily delete existing backups.
The Google account owner can review and revoke third-party access through their Google Account security settings. Revoking access may interrupt backup operations.
